If you notice something different in your environment, something that wasn’t there before and you have no explanation for it, make a wish. If you notice a situation has really changed, and there’s no apparent reason for it, make a wish. If you notice you feel very different from the way you did a moment ago, and you can’t figure why, make a wish.

Feeling broke? Feeling misused? You have more than you might realize. You are by nature an immensely wealthy being, because you have a heart.

We should never forget the patience Jesus showed the world through His Crucifixion. He had patience when communicating with His accusers in spite of His innocence. He still asked the Father to forgive them. We should have the same attitude concerning others. We need to trust the Lord and patiently wait on the fulfillment of His promises concerning us and others.

In your dreams you see many aspects of yourself. When you decide that you want to be more of yourself, one thing you can do is begin to integrate your dream selves into the everyday you that is here in this world. You many experiences, many talents, to draw from. You might very well be the best resource you have!

Expectations can be HUGE inspirations — or huge roadblocks. With this in mind the question becomes: Are expectations good or bad?

If you are worried about the conditions in the world and how to change them I would suggest that self change must be a big part of it. If you have a philosophy, religion, or spirituality that cannot bring you peace in the midst of this fire in which we find ourselves, I would say it is time to change your religion or engage in it in a different way. Religion and spirituality exist for times like these, where the rubber meets the road and it gets hot. There is not time for woo woo and la la when we are in desperate straits.

God is the perfect example to mankind concerning patience. His patience is the assurance and comfort in all our weaknesses. Our hearts are far from perfection; but, God does not cast us out.

Challenges, Struggles, Stress, Financial Worries, Relationship Troubles, It’s One Thing After Another….. Any of these sound familiar? One of my mentors once said, “If you are going through Hell, KEEP GOING….” Jesus said, “In this world you will have tribulation…” (John 16:33).

Life is full of contradictions. As much as we want life to be organized and to maintain distinctions, it does not flow that way. One of my favorites… “Life isn’t fair, but Life is good.” There are no absolutes in life, except, perhaps, Absolute vodka.

This is the real wisdom of life. We can all-too-easily become enslaved to our more rabidly manifest emotions, losing the plot for a time, damaging our worlds, only in losing sight of the real hope – perhaps because we’ve never had or known it.
