We all accept responsibilities at the time of birth. God creates a blueprint of life, so to speak, for each of us when we are born.

My friend do you know that God’s grace and mercy is sufficient enough for all of us? The Word of God tells us that Jesus has come that we might have life, and have it more abundantly. He’s not pointing fingers; He’s not picking certain individuals out of the crowd. No, He says that He’s come that we all may have life and have it more abundantly.

Generally, spiritual awakening is when an individual perceives the world as something else that is certainly much better than how other people perceive it. In a sense, it is when an individual develops his inner consciousness and gets to be more aware of the value of things which surround him.

Peace is what everyone with sane minds want. Psalm 32 is not only a psalm lauding how good it is to be forgiven, it points us in the direction of true peace–the very footstool of joy, love, and a myriad form of virtue.

Thirty eight years is a long time to have been lying chronically sick. This is the situation which Jesus Christ meets when he walks into the pool of Bethesda on the north side of the Old City of Jerusalem. I have had the privilege of visiting this pool with groups of pilgrims on various occasions when I have been leading Holy Land tours.

Chronic sickness can result in permanent disability and that is exactly what confronts us and this paralysed man is cured and healed. Now, there is a pool in Jerusalem called Bethesda Pool and it has five porches. This pool was discovered around 1888 and I have visited it on various occasions on the north side of the Old City of Jerusalem.

Are you sharing good news with others, or are you containing it all in? When we’ve truly been delivered the excitement is so much that we just can’t contain it. Often times we feel the need to hold back on our testimony because we detest being accused of bragging. In actuality, the Word of God encourages us to spread the good news to others. We must spread the good news so that men may be changed.

Spiritual development is our topic in this article and in other articles. I discuss ideas here that can help us develop spiritually, grow in our inner life and enjoy life to the fullest. As we go along we shall discover that everything else in life can be related to our spiritual life.
