Birthdays celebrated, deaths mourned. Weddings had–marriages initiated; divorces too. Comings and goings. Partnerships of an entirely different kind; blessed and cursed. Events all the same.

Garnet is very common and plentiful stone and can be found in many areas around the world. It has a trigonal crystal structure, and there are different forms according to its mineral base; Almandine, Andradite, Demantoid, Grossular, Hessonite, Pyrope, Rhodalite, Spessatite, Tsavorite and Uvarovite. A common misconception is that all Garnets are a red, when actually they come in a wide variety of colours including purple, red, orange, yellow, green, brown and black.

People have struggled with how to overcome lusting of the flesh since they first fell from grace and walked the dusty roads of this earth, hence the Bible states, “The spirit is indeed willing, but the flesh is weak.” (Matthew 26:41b KJV). What is lust? A dictionary definition would be: “1) intense or unrestrained sexual craving 2) an overwhelming desire or craving.” Lust is about pleasing oneself and can lead to “unwholesome actions to fulfill one’s desires” with little or no regard for the consequences.

As I look back over my life I can’t help but to think about the dreams “young me” used to dream and I struggle to figure out where those dreams got lost along the way. Some dreams I was careless with, while others I handled gently with care. As I look back over my life I see a path strewn with dreams never realized, dreams deferred, and others surely forgotten.

The question as it was posed; I recently saw a news item about how scientists believe they can isolate the aging gene and program the gene so that we can live longer in the future. Is that possible and if so, will it effect me? It could happen that you will live longer in the future, but if you have read my previous articles about aging, you would remember that aging is not only a physical process, but more importantly, a psychic reality having to do with the soul’s inclination turn its attention in other directions.

When Jesus Christ turned the water into wine at the wedding in Cana in Galilee, the wedding guests never saw the miracle, as far as we know. They were generally speaking like so many today. They were unaware of what can be happening when Jesus Christ is present.

The prophet is a key to what God is saying to the church, or to the world. He reveals or interprets what God is doing in the world, or what He is about to do. He is a key man! Take care not to lose the key or throw away the key. He cannot tolerate injustice, hypocrisy, falsehood and oppression, and he is forever seeking to please God. How a man of God is called is important, as is what God says to him, and how people respond to his ministry. What is your response? How does you heart react?

There are four things that we need from our homes. If you can infuse them into your surroundings, you will have a home that truly nurtures your heart and your soul. And supports all the ways you want to stretch and to grow into your soul’s purpose.
