Muhammad (s.a.w.) is the last prophet. But divine mercy has not ended with Him. It shall continue with his successors awliya until doomsday. The vague sections of the Qur’an are explained by Rasulullah; the obscure parts about his words and deeds are detailed by Sahaba with the ijtihad of scholars. All these constitute “Islam”. To be subject to prophets is everybody’s duty. The light of faith is the love of Allah. Hence, this is what leads a man into perfect faith: love. As love grows in heart, its extent also escalates. Whatever is about Allah gains more importance.

In ancient Eastern beliefs, the heart is the seat of the Soul. This simple, yet profound truth is something that I have known deep within before I found written confirmation. The heart also symbolizes the Soul Mind. Pristine consciousness is the bridge between that of being purely human with our many flaws, and that of our Soul Essence of truth and unconditional love.
